The sun is finally shining, the weather is finally warming up – it might actually be spring! The boyfriend and I went for a run this morning and the plan was to come back home, take showers, and then make breakfast. Sounds like a decent plan, right? Well, it was a decent plan until we got home and couldn’t wait that long to eat! So, we cranked some 60s jams, ignored that we were both sweaty messes and whipped up our first Hello Fresh breakfast dish. We’re both fans of grits, so this one got our attention when we heard they were going to start offering breakfast meals in their weekly box options. It was really good! Almost too much food for me at breakfast, but it wasn’t heavy so I was left feeling full and not like I was going to need to be rolled around the house to get from A to B.
Have you tried Hello Fresh? It’s totally worth not having to do the “What do you want for dinner?” “I dunno, what do you want for dinner?” dance with your family. It’s become a real life saver for us when things have been completely crazy town and difficult to make it to the store.
Give it a try! Sign up with my referral code and get $40 off your first box!
The title of this article is deceiving, because to me this isn’t the least bit surprising 😉
My favorite food truck in Boston finally opened a brick and mortar location!
The boyfriend ordered this thermometer (after literally years of searching for a decent one) and it’s been fantastic so far! They’re not kidding when they call it super-fast – the readings are practically instantaneous.
Have you been keeping up with Sally’s monthly baking challenges? If not, you should! It’s not only a great way to learn new skills (or just brush up on your existing skill set), but it’s an excuse to make super pretty stuff like this month’s two-tone roses ❤?
I’ve been feeling nostalgic lately and keep adding this to my Amazon cart, and then I talk myself out of it. If you have one, let me know – it’s so cute and fun, and I think all I need is one person to say, “I own it, it’s great!” to get me to hit the order button.
Lastly, I just want to say thank you to everyone who reached out on Facebook and Instagram with advice and recommendations to help me with my new PCOS-friendly diet. I can’t tell you how much it means to be able to chat with other people who are also struggling with chronic illness – you guys rock! ?❤
Note: This post was not sponsored by Hello Fresh – I’m just a fan!
