Ramen "Spaghetti" Bake

A cheesy, meaty, family-sized casserole featuring a surprise ingredient - ramen!

Servings 9 to 12 servings


  • 3 packages of ramen, flavor packets discarded
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 ½ cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 1-24 oz can spaghetti sauce
  • 1 teaspoon basil, chopped
  • 2-3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Chopped parsley, optional as garnish


  • Preheat oven to 350° F. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray and set aside.
  • Boil ramen according to package directions, drain and layer in baking dish.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, add oil and sauté onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add ground turkey and heat until browned and cooked through. Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add mushrooms, sauce and basil. Heat until the sauce starts to bubble.
  • Add the sauce mix in an even layer on top of the ramen in the baking dish. Top with cheese and parsley, and cover with aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, then remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese on top is bubbling and starting to brown.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes before cutting and then serve. Enjoy!
