Instructions
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine sugar and water. Whisk constantly and bring to a boil.
3/4 cup granulated sugar,
1/2 cup water
Let simmer for 3 minutes, whisking frequently.
Add peppermint extract, whisk to combine, and let simmer for another 2 minutes.
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
Remove from heat, let cool to room temperature, then store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 1 month. Enjoy!
