In a small saucepan over low heat, heat heavy cream until it is bubbling around the edges of the saucepan. Remove from heat and use a whisk to stir in white chocolate and butter until combined and smooth.
1 ounce white chocolate, 1 ounce heavy cream, 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter
Transfer to a heat-proof container and store in the fridge to cool. See recipe notes for information about adding more sweetness to your mixture, if desired.
Fill a 16 ounce glass with ice cubes, then pour in milk, white chocolate sauce and espresso (or cold brew coffee) and give it a stir to combine.
2 ounces espresso or cold brew coffee, 1 cup ice cubes, 6 ounces milk
Top with whipped cream, and additional white chocolate sauce, if you have extra. Add a straw, serve immediately and enjoy!

Added sweetness: If you prefer your drinks even sweeter, try adding 1 tablespoon of granulated, light brown, or coconut sugar to your white chocolate sauce.
