Cooking a salmon dinner doesn't get much easier than this! This quick and easy oven baked salmon recipe is flaky, flavorful, and no-fuss by using a simple mixture of olive oil, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning.
Gather your ingredients: salmon filet(s), salt, pepper, olive oil, Italian seasoning and a lemon.

Place the filet on a parchment paper lined baking sheet, and generously salt and pepper the filet.

Mix the olive oil, Italian seasoning and juice of half the lemon in a small bowl. Coat the filet.

Top the filet with thin slices of lemon from the other half of the lemon.

Bake at 450°F for 15 minutes, or until salmon is 120°F in the thickest part of the salmon, opaque and flaky when pulled apart with a fork.
