Pantry pasta can be made with whatever ingredients you have on hand in your fridge and pantry! An easy to customize recipe base that can be ready in about 15 minutes.

Gather the ingredients you'd like to use. I usually grab garlic, butter, EVOO, lemon, anchovies, and cheese.

While spaghetti is cooking, I sauté garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add anchovies and red pepper flake and cook, stirring often.

Carefully transfer cooked pasta to saucepan of garlic mixture. Add pasta water, butter and Parmesan cheese using tongs to coat pasta.

Add lemon juice and zest, and toss to combine. Serve immediately, top with more cheese and/or herbs, and enjoy!

Just know that if you have a cheese-loving pet, there might be a fight for who gets the bowl ;)
