To say things have been busy and stressful in my world recently is an understatement. So busy, in fact, that I haven’t even had time to stress bake. I KNOW. Too stressed to stress bake? Blasphemy!
And since I don’t have a new edible creation for you today, I figured I would share some of the things that have piqued my interest lately. Join me, won’t you?
I made this cake (pictured above) for a coworker’s last day and it was a gigantic hit. It was so late the night I was making it that I didn’t have time (or energy) to take photos for a new recipe post. Guess that just means I’ll have to make it again soon – gosh golly gee.
My food blogger crush, Sally, published a wonderful post called 10 More Tips for Growing Your Food Blog – #6 is one I definitely need to heed more than I do.
Kiehl’s Superbly Efficient Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant. I picked this up while I was on vacation after a lot of wavering over the cost. But I’m not joking when I say this is an absolute game changer. I thought I would never switch brands, and now I will never go back to anything else.
The Frugalwoods. I’ve been a reader for about a year, but they recently got some (well deserved!) exposure in the local news for their ingenious methods of saving money for a minimalist lifestyle. Personally, my favorite part is that Frugal Hound delivers my email updates.
Affogatos. All the affogatos.
I’ve booked a couple nights at The Benchmark Inn in Provincetown for my birthday next month and I can’t wait. A fabulous town full of fabulous people, surrounded by ocean and sand dunes? Yes, please.0
