I’m not a Christmas shopper. You’ll never find me out at the malls or stores during the holidays – it’s basically my worst nightmare. I lock myself in the house to put up the Christmas tree and decorations, with Christmas music unleashed at full volume. And of course, there’s baking – because what’s Christmas decorating without cookies to decorate?
However, I will shop online for a couple things for choice people who happen to love food as much as I do. Here are some gift suggestions for a foodie in your life!
Or yourself. I’m not here to judge.
Not only is it practical, it’s necessary advice.
A blogger friend of mine has this and I’ve seen it in person – it’s beautiful. You can see my salted caramel apple hand pies on it in her post here!
I’ve been wanting one of these sweatshirts ever since I saw Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg wearing them and dancing around together. Those two are serious #friendshipgoals. But on top of that, you get some baking mixes to make holiday baking even easier? You just know that someone in your life will thank you for this.
Everyone and their mother is a part of the Instant Pot craze, and I totally understand why. This thing has tons of different uses and speeds up meal preparation – and who doesn’t want to save more time these days?
It’s a shirt to display your love of tacos. Need I say more?
I know, I know – you’re supposed to use the hole in the middle of your spaghetti spoon to determine portions sizes for pasta. But you know what? YOU NEED MORE WHIMSY IN YOUR LIFE.
My heart, my soul, and the perfect gift for a baker in your life. This gift will get you so many brownie points you’ll be able to roll them over to next year.
If you’re not looking to make as much of an investment but still want to give someone the joy that a KitchenAid product provides (I know, that sounded like an infomercial, but it’s TOTALLY TRUE), gift them this hand mixer. And maybe send them this color, because it matches my logo color and that just makes me happy. And while you’re at it, maybe mail me one because my current hand mixer is writing its will on its death bed.
Bill ordered chicken and waffles for brunch at Greydon House on Nantucket once, and they came with a side of baked beans in one of these completely adorable mini cocottes. I’ve been obsessed with them ever since – just think of all the individually portioned things you could make in them!
We’re heading into prime soup season, and just imagine the smile your friend would get on their face each time they scoop soup into their bowl with an adorable blue Nessie ladle. I mean, come on.
If you know someone who’s really into cooking, but also likes the science behind it, this book is great. It explains why things work (or don’t, in some cases) so that you can apply that knowledge to other recipes in the future. Fun, and educational! [insert “The More You Know” animation here]
I’ve been in love with this mug for years. I don’t know why I haven’t just bought it yet. Please buy it for yourself or your friends and ask them to take video of it in use so that I can live vicariously through them.
I have a thing for vintage kitchen scales, and I would love to have this sitting on my counter one day. Maybe you know someone who would do the same!
These are all the rage in food videos this year, and it’s easy to see why. Not only does it give you an extra cooking surface aside from your stovetop, but you can put it wherever it most convenient for you.
I’m not a fan of glitter, so I’d never send a glitter bomb to anyone. But a sprinkle bomb? Ohhellyes.
